As all snowmobilers know, the quality of grooming can make or break the riding experience.For that reason, PSSA’s directors spend a great deal of time working with others to improve grooming availability and practices in Pennsylvania.
In recent years, PSSA has worked with DCNR to offer Groomer Operator Training to club representatives from around the State, and encourages those interested to participate and to become familiar with the IASA Grooming Guidelines.
PSSA has also been enabled, via a DCNR grant, to offer “MiniGrants”, or Trail Grants to clubs who work at grooming and are, otherwise, unreimbursed for their efforts. See details on the PSSA Mini-grant Program and application.
