Greetings Fellow Snow Lovers. Hope this warm weather isn’t getting to you. Here’s a FaceBook page to check out if it does https://www.facebook.com/ilsnowcom/ .
The regular meeting of the Glendale Lake Snowmobile Club was called to order at 7:30pm on April 6 2020. Because of the restrictions placed by our governor the Board Of Directors decided to hold the meeting by having a video conference using “Zoom”. The virtual meeting was well attended by the Board and Officers. Much of the meeting was dedicated to trail construction and planning for when the State of PA opens up again for activities. Some brief discussions were also had about our Fall Club Picnic and sled give away. A PSSA Report was given and the meeting adjourned.
Just a reminder to check us out on FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/GLSMClub/ Or check out our Group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/864367483745347/ . Club membership applications and maps can be found on the Group page.
Please join us for our next open meeting on July 6th when hopefully we meet again at the newly remodeled social room at Patton’s Sportsmen’s Club, we’re really hoping we’ll be allowed to gather together by then . The meeting begins at 7:30 but many club members and their families come early to enjoy the great food at the club. Any club business that needs immediate attention should be presented to a Board member or Officer before the Board meeting on June 1st.
Our Club is located in south central PA, about 1.5 hours east of the Laurel Highlands and about 45 minutes west of Black Moshanon State Park. We’re not far from Ebensburg and Altoona. If you’re from this area or ride in this area, we urge you to join our club. We meet the first Monday of the month, year round at 7:30 PM at the Patton Sportsman’s Club. We have a great time at our Club Meetings. We take care of business, enjoy some great food if you’re hungry, and swap some real good sled stories. Come join us. Stay safe till then.
