Hello everyone!
The snow has come and gone for now and hopefully everyone got chances to ride. The reports I got from restaurants and fuel stops say it was the best couple of weekends in a long time.
MapGears is just about ready to launch, thanks to Rob Housley and Randy Green. They have spent hundreds of hours putting in the trails, restaurants, and fuel stops with GPS across our state. We give a big thank you to these men. We all hope to enjoy this program soon!
The Spring Meeting will be April 13th this year. It will be held at the BestLine Powersports in Centre Hall, PA. This is your opportunity to come and meet other snowmobiling people, see what PSSA is all about, and learn more about what we are doing for snowmobiling. We also want you to come and give us your input and ideas on how to better our sport. We’ll also be holding our raffle drawing that day! Hopefully you’ve received your raffle tickets by now. We appreciate your support of PSSA. Make sure you get your tickets back to us in time! We have more information about the event and the link to register in this edition of Keystone Snowmobiler. Volunteers are always needed at the event!
Our Legislative Ride was rescheduled due to the lack of snow. It was moved to March 13th in Erie at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Clubhouse. Details and volunteer opportunities are available in the coming pages of this Keystone Snowmobiler and on our website.
We are also working on the Fall Powersports Show coming to you on October 25th through 27th! The contract was just signed for the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. New this year will be Pennsylvania Off-highway Vehicle Association working with us. They represent off-highway vehicles, ATV’s and side-by-side riding. This joint venture and other plans will help to make this one of the best shows ever.
Thanks! AND THINK SNOW!!!
Rich Hayes, PSSA President
