Hello, everyone!
We hope all of you are enjoying the end of spring and the beginning of summer. PSSA will be working over the next few months to get ready for the welcome return of our Powersports Show!
As you know, we’ve been very busy. To recap – our Spring Meeting at Best Line Powersports was well attended (and included a great lunch!), and our Spring Raffle was a success. Thanks again to all who sold tickets. Congratulations to the winners! We’re very excited about the Fall Powersports Show coming for the first time to the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. We’ll be working on the details over the next few months to make this the best one yet. To stay up to date on everything, be sure to follow us on social media – we’re on both Facebook and Instagram.
Here are a couple of the additional project we’re working on:
- We are currently working with DCNR on snowmobile registrations.
- Our new Mapgears application is up and running for this coming season.
- Another round of mini grants has gone out to clubs and will be approved by the end of June.
Also, don’t forget about our Snow Angel Program. There is $500.00 available to the family of a child in need of medical financial help. If you know of a child in need, please reach out to us – our contact information appears at the end of this newsletter.
In conclusion, I have been told by a responsible source that a certain ocean temperature dictates the snow amounts we get. Well, if that is true, we will have a snowy winter coming up this year! Let’s keep our fingers crossed through these warm months.
Take care,
Rich Hayes
