Thank you to all members who attended the Annual Membership Meeting via ZOOM. I myself was not sure just how this type of meeting would work with members. The Board has been using ZOOM for several months now. As I previously stated it has its positive and negative elements. Some of us like to speak face-to-face with others. Zoom does allow one to do that but it is at a distance. The virus has taught us to be flexible and consider alternatives for what we want to accomplish. Kathy Woolever and Maura Donley prepared a PowerPoint presentation for our use. This helped keep presentations on track. Thank you to both of them. Comments/Concerns pertaining to this Annual Meeting should be e-mailed to Chick Walter, Board Secretary at (walter.charles@rocketmail.com).

Thank you to all who bought/sold tickets to help support the activities of PSSA.
Blizzard Trailers and BRP have continued their support of PSSA. They have generously donated a BIG trailer and an ATV respectively to PSSA for a fundraiser. You will receive information with your tickets in the near future. Remember this ticket income will replace the Power Sport Show income. Sell to all your friends etc.
PSSA Committees will meet in September/October. Submit your ideas, comments etc. to the Chair of the relevant committee.
It is important that the PSSA Board understands the thoughts and outlook of its members. The Survey Committee is preparing a questionnaire for members to answer. This will give direction to PSSA for future projects. It is currently tweaking its questions. Help PSSA understand what is happening and answer the questionnaire when it is sent out in the next month or two. Stay tuned and spread the word. We need your input.
Grant applications are due. Please contact Lisa Vallimont, Grant Administrator, at lv051066@gmail.com. with your questions.
PSSA needs your help. PSSA has promoted snowmobile recreation across the state for many years. It takes time and money to sponsor a website, attend meetings and keep members informed of issues. What can you do? Businesses in your area or where you ride need to be contacted to offer discounts to PSSA members. Fellow snowmobile riders should be encouraged to join PSSA. Suggestions have been made for clubs to sponsor a snowmobile ride (include elected officials) or have sub sales to name a few. PSSA has given much to clubs and the sport – now we need everyone to help in any way they can.
Board Officers were reelected for another year. Thank you for your confidence in what the Board has been doing the past year. However, we need everyone’s input. Your insights and comments are appreciated.
I personally want to thank the Board for all their comments, concerns and time commitment in the past year (total of 17 meetings – eight (8) Executive Board and nine (9) Full Board plus Committee meetings. You have made PSSA what it is today. Thank you.
Please be Safe! Enjoy the summer/fall!
Think Snow!
Liz Krug, President
Note: Show canceled but TRAILER and ATV are being donated to PSSA to raffle. We thank Blizzard and BRP.
