HAPPY LABOR DAY! TAKE TIME TO RELAX AND ENJOY OUR GREAT OUTDOORS!
Thank you to all our members who attended the Annual Membership Meeting held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Various Committees gave reports of their work including research and discussions.
Topics included the following: statewide mapping initiative, research to help analyze the income/expenses of DCNR and clubs and their needs, membership totals, club safety classes, trail gaps, law enforcement, fundraising and raffle drawings. The Board and Committees have met over 60 times in the last two years.
The current raffle winners were drawn. Their names are listed elsewhere in the Keystone Snowmobiler and the website: www.pasnow.org. Congratulations to the winners and a BIG thank you to all who participated.
The Fall Raffle will include several in state and out of state trips. See the end of this post for the list of raffle prizes. Keep an eye out for your tickets! We’ll be sending them out soon and announcing the drawing date as well. Please try to help sell these tickets. Raffle profits are used to help improve the snowmobile program across the state.
F & S has donated several prizes to be used to buy accessories at their store or on-line. Tickets are in the print stage and will be sent to our members shortly. Please try to help sell these tickets. Raffle profits are used to help improve the snowmobile program across the state.
Don Mosier and myself were re-elected to the Executive Board.
Lastly, the PSSA Officers were reelected by unanimous vote of the Board. Thank you for your vote of confidence.
Now it is time to continue to Move Forward.
Several comments, suggestions were made at this meeting that deserve further discussion or action. If you have any comments send them to any Board member. We are in the process of compiling these items and they will be discussed at the September Board meeting. We need our member input. Thank you.
Finally, All Clubs are asked to complete a Club Information and Data Worksheet. We are in need of this information to up-date our data base and make fact based decisions including our club expenses/income. Please return those in the next two weeks.
Any club who did not receive an e-mail please let me know and I will send it to you.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Liz Krug, President PSSA
